I've always loved being immersed in nature. Since childhood I've been inspired to make a positive change, and be a part of conserving the beauty that surrounds us. I'm eternally grateful for the opportunities throughout my youth offered locally to educate me in the field of conservation. These experiences ignited a passion for doing what I can to help preserve and restore the places I hold so dearly to my heart. I've been visiting the Kaweah Oaks Preserve since childhood; it's where I go when I'm seeking peace of mind. I've also volunteered numerous times through the Sequoia Riverlands Trust to plant Oak trees and other native plants there. I've always taken advantage every chance to be submersed in learning about conservation from SCICON in elementary, Yosemite in Jr. High, Circle J Ranch in high school. These experiences shaped who I am today. Into adulthood I've continued to visit, volunteer, and advocate for nature. Nature is my biggest inspiration and source of enlightenment. This position would be a dream come true.
