I’ve had customers recently who have sparked my desire to be more fluent in other languages. So I can have better communication with the Deaf community, and the French - for the next time I visit their country. It’s crazy that when I went to France and told them I could speak ASL they had no idea that Frenchman Abbe Sicard and American Thomas Gallaudet are responsible for what ASL is today. I look forward to being fluent and maybe becoming a translator. There is always work for translators in different fields. I got through this video and was proud to have remembered most of these already and can confidently say that I know these numbers in ASL also.
