I.M.'s Jar

You gave me this jar

It serves me

encases me in it’s clarity

you filled me

i drew you in

consumed you

waited for you only to realize

it was you that I had weighted on me

my heart

what was once full, no, overflowing with love

has been emptied

drained

crystal clear

this glass serves to remind me to see clearly when it people attempt to draw from you under the premise of perceived generosity, solace, understanding

this glass reminds me of the dangers of empty people

empty promises

drainers, takers, thieves who prey on those of full(fool)-hearted intentions

Today there was a shit load of mind fuckery. Picking of the old scabs and wounds. Despite these reflections, I still had a pretty good day. Currently watching One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. It sucks that my day started off in such a tumultuous way. Revolting really. Especially when I had had such a good night with great heartwarming films. I laughed, I cried, and I appreciated that life can be hard in different ways but it’s better to look on the brighter side of life. I still feel that way. But it was as if these resurgence of bad memories was a attesting my belief in that. I’ve grown as a person and learned about the ways in which people can hurt you, but more so the ways I can keep pushing and hoping for the best to keep coming. I will continue to work on myself but I see the ways in which I’ve grown and where I need to go, where I can go; my future.

Imagining a reformation of the worldwide immigration policy that consists of a new green deal where people gain citizenship and therefore civil rights liberties housing etc in exchange for their help in combating societal issues. Native Americans can have the opportunity to house immigrants in exchange for housing and educational opportunities as well as preservation of natural resources. They would gain a sort of unionization of cooperative means. Immigrants coming for better living conditions can turn to any Americans but Native Americans would get first pick turning the idea of immigration negatively impacting Native communities on its head. They would have more man power and scientific sophistication would develop and flourish in these environments given the proper conditions. Native Americans would gain political power, natural preservation, increased socioeconomic status, and greater potential to fight to regain stolen land with more manpower to back justification.
